Having just celebrated our 24th Wedding Anniversary / Travel-versary, as travel bloggers we’re already starting to think ahead to how we’ll spend our very special Sliver Anniversary next year! Since we really didn’t get the honeymoon destination right (our worst vacation ever), we really feel this one’s important. But with so many amazing options out there in this great big beautiful world … our heads are practically spinning!

Expedia.ca Predicting Canadians Will Travel Closer To Home In 2016

TORONTO, Feb. 23, 2016 /CNW/ – According to a recent survey commissioned by Canada’s leading full-service online travel provider Expedia.ca, Canadians have their sights set on destinations closer to home when it comes to travel in 2016. Despite the slide in the value of the Canadian dollar, results of the survey show that 64 per cent of consumers surveyed are planning to travel and another 83 per cent wish they could be travelling.

Survey reveals that sun-starved Canadians are packing swimsuits in their carry-on for instant beach access TORONTO, Feb. 17, 2016 /CNW/ – A new study, released today by the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, shows Canadians are keen to hit the beach right off the plane with nearly 40 per cent of Canadians packing their bathing suit in their carry-on just in case their luggage doesn’t make it through.  Consumer research into Canadians’ habits when travelling to the Caribbean examines the behaviour’s and planning process taken in advance of their trip south.
