Having just celebrated our 24th Wedding Anniversary / Travel-versary, as travel bloggers we’re already starting to think ahead to how we’ll spend our very special Sliver Anniversary next year! Since we really didn’t get the honeymoon destination right (our worst vacation ever), we really feel this one’s important. But with so many amazing options out there in this great big beautiful world … our heads are practically spinning!

Exactly 24 years ago we started travelling together – little did we know that would mark not just the beginning of our lives together as husband and wife, but the beginning of a journey that would turn us into travel bloggers. Despite the slide in the value of the Canadian dollar, results of the survey show that 64 per cent of consumers surveyed are planning to travel and another 83 per cent wish they could be travelling.
Survey reveals that sun-starved Canadians are packing swimsuits in their carry-on for instant beach access TORONTO, Feb. 17, 2016 /CNW/ – A new study, released today by the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, shows Canadians are keen to hit the beach right off the plane with nearly 40 per cent of Canadians packing their bathing suit in their carry-on just in case their luggage doesn’t make it through. The Bahamian government has signed a “heads of agreement” for a $200 million luxury resort in the Exumas. The eco-friendly resort will be located on Children’s Bay Cay and Williams Cay, both 15 minutes off the northern coast of Barraterre, Exuma.
