We haven’t travelled far from home since 2018, but this year we did our almost yearly trip to Germany. This was a different trip for us – mostly about relaxing and less about exploring. We managed to fit in some unique day trips and one of them was to spend a few hours at MotorWorld in Stuttgart Germany. Ride of a lifetime … we’ve heard that expression used before with previous generations of Champ Car and Indy Car two-seaters, and to me it always sounded so cliché – so when I was asked to help promote the Champ Car F1X2 (F1 times 2) two-seater program I promised myself that I would find a more apt description for the experience. This was our “visit friends tour and chill trip.” But we HAD to see a couple of towns – it just wouldn’t be a trip without that! So, we agreed that we’d only do our “towning” on one day.
