Travellers To Canada Will Experience New Documentation Requirements Starting Sept. 30th

Travelers flying to Canada starting Sept. 30 will experience a raft of new documentation requirements depending on their citizenship. Renewing Your Passport? Will that be for four-and-a-half years or nine-and-a-half?

We were in the middle of booking our next trip to Europe when we discovered that our passports would expire 2 days after our scheduled return home. Uh oh… some countries require you to have 6 months available after your departure date – otherwise they won’t let you in. It’s a bit excessive, but that’s the new world we’re living in. No problem, we’ll just renew our passports and they’ll tack the remaining 6 months on to the end of our new expiry date – after all we’ve paid for that six months and it’s not our fault other countries make that rule – right? You’d think that would be so, but not if you’re Canadian.

Exuma – Stocking Island Stingrays (Video)

We’ve had a YouTube channel for a couple of years now, but haven’t uploaded more than a couple of our videos … well … that’s about to change! Today we’ve uploaded the first of 8 videos from our trip to Exuma, Bahamas – a true paradise just an hour from Florida. We hope you enjoy our series, starting with this amazing experience at Stocking Island where we got to swim with, feed and pet the stingrays! We only spent an afternoon on Stocking Island – we experiences a lot, but  missed so much – so we’ll be sure to spend a full day there when we go back.
