Last year we had to cancel our trip to Roatán, Honduras because Gail came down with an unknown-at-the-time illness. After a week in the hospital, it turns out she had a parasite in her system that could have been there for years or weeks – no one knows – either way, it created additional issues and left her with a rare gastrointestinal autoimmune disease to boot. Through research, she discovered that virtually all of us have a parasite (sometimes more than one) at any given time!
We recently had to cancel a trip to Roatan because one of us ended up in the hospital shortly before we were due to travel. Having good travel insurance was paramount to us not having to forfeit thousands of dollars in airfare/resort fees while cancelling the holiday.

In British Columbia, all routes will cease except for Vancouver to Seattle, which is operated by Greyhound Lines, Inc. (USA) and BoltBus.
We spotted several interesting products while visiting this years’ Outdoor Adventure Show in Toronto, and today we’d like to introduce you to one of them – a cool (pun intended) new product called Flight underwear. When we first strolled up to their booth we didn’t get too excited – okay, just some guys selling bamboo underwear, no biggie, but when we found out that they’re a start-up from Vancouver we suggested they should go on Dragon’s Den. Nothing they hadn’t already thought of apparently, and they told us they’d love to, but to be considered for a deal in the Den you have to have sales, so they’re trying to get that rolling by attending trade shows and getting the word out about their cool new product.

Our image for June takes us back to Rothenburg ob der Tauber … need to get back there again … there’s just never enough time at each of these quaint locations.
