Naked Filter – Clean Water For Everybody

Water is the single most important thing we humans need – other than clean air of course. Unfortunately too many people take it for granted. For example the last time you went through airport security going to or from the U.S. – how many huge garbage pails did you see that were full of peoples confiscated water bottles, most of them full? What a complete waste of water – and money! And what are just about every one of those people going to do when they’re done being frisked and molested? They’re going to go and buy extremely over-priced bottled water – in the ‘safe area” of the airport. There has to be a better way… and there is. But it’s not just a better and cheaper way – it’s revolutionary in its design and application.

Have you ever thought of an “Experiential Vacation?”

It sounds exotic, expensive and exclusive. It’s been around since 2007 or maybe even before that, but it’s been thrown into the foreground recently by a TD survey. The survey found that approximately ¾ (74 per cent) of Canadians have already taken or are interested in taking an experiential vacation, and almost 2/3 (62 per cent) would consider it if they could find ways to save on the cost of those trips. The survey found that most people would consider an experiential vacation if costs are reasonable. Although visiting with family and friends or relaxing on a beach or by the pool are still important reasons for taking a vacation, a growing number of people are considering more adventurous travel. So what constitutes an “Experiential Vacation?” Come on… didn’t you know that it’s “The biggest trend in travel today?”

Interview With An Exceptional Photographer & His 5 Tips to Improve Your Travel Photos

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words … but an exceptional picture … well, quite frankly those leave me speechless. I stumbled across the photography styling of Johannes Brock a result of my work in the world of motorsport back in 2013. Having won a photography contest, Johannes had an image featured in a print magazine and was accredited to shoot GT racing at the famed Nürburgring in Germany. As I saw more and more of his images hitting the Facebook groups I was following, I got really curious … who was this guy? …. And that my friends is when the “Facestalking” began.

Behind the Mask – A Unique Perspective on Travel

If you haven’t seen any of their work yet, you must check out Behind the Mask … their travel-adventure video blog focuses on their passion for nature. Combining their passions, they document their journey diving, flying and shooting. Video footage from high above, using drones, takes their stories to all-new heights, while their photography and videos from Behind the Mask open our eyes to the magical wonders of the underwater world. After Iain stumbled across their first video blog from Eleuthera, I was completely drawn in … and I “floated with them,” as they like to say, for hours … wandering through the adventures they’ve shared on their website. Their multi-part travel stories are so well done … it’s really no wonder they just received the “Best Dronie” award at the NYC Drone Film Festival. Follow the adventures of “Behind the Mask” on Facebook and check out their travel stories on their blog.  I’m sure this is only the beginning for these talented young men from Germany. Wish You Had More Money To Travel? 12 Tips To Help Your Reach Your Goal.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could travel for free, perhaps getting unique perspectives that the average person doesn’t see? How about actually getting paid to travel? That would be amazing! BUT for 99.99999% of the population – we’re paying for our trips out of our own budget. We’ve got to save for months (in some cases years) to get that dream holiday. Working in the media for almost 15 years now, we’ve gotten some pretty good freebies or discounts off an adventure here and there. But not everything is easy to get at a reduced price, and believe it or not – some of the cheaper entries ($5-$10) are the ones the companies won’t even give you a discount on, while $500 tickets are gladly offered! Strange that! We don’t get the usual travel perks like travel agents or the “big” bloggers, so we have to have cash available to do what we want. So where do we cut expenses or save enough to give us a travel fund?
